What I Watched This Week

• Solo Leveling Season 2 – 9.7/10
  A fast-paced and beautifully drawn continuation of Jinwoo’s journey, showcasing a compelling story of overcoming one’s weakness. The animation and action sequences continue to impress, making it a standout in the genre.

• Single’s Inferno Season 4 – 8.8/10
  This season delivered an exciting mix of romance and drama, though some participant choices were frustrating. However, the cast displayed more emotional intelligence than in previous years, making for a refreshing take on the reality dating show format.

• RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 17 – 9.0/10
  Drama is at an all-time high, bringing back the energy of "Boogers vs. Heathers" with a fierce divide between "fashion queens" and camp queens. The season is serving looks, shade, and talent, and against all odds, Susie Toot has made me a believer.

• The Substance – 8.9/10
  A wildly interesting and deeply unsettling film, proving once again that horror deserves its flowers in mainstream awards circuits. The two leads deliver phenomenal performances, making this a must-watch for genre fans.

• Exhuma – 9.9/10
  A fascinating Korean film about ghosts and the shamans who fight them. From its chilling atmosphere to its gripping storytelling, this one definitely lived up to the eerie rumors about its haunted set. A must-watch for fans of supernatural horror.
